Presidential Scholarship Application 2022-2023

    The top merit award available to Randolph College applicants, the Presidential Scholarship is a full tuition award offered to those that demonstrate exceptional academic qualities along with significant extracurricular pursuits.

    As part of this competition, applicants are required to submit a 1-3 page, double spaced writing sample or a 3-5 minute presentation on one of the topics below.  Finalists will also be asked to complete an interview with the scholarship committee.           

    • What is/will be the best day of your life?  (You can speak about an event that has already occurred or think about your life in the future tense.)

    • What specifically, from your background or application, makes you the best candidate for a Presidential Scholarship from Randolph College?  Feel free to reflect on life experiences, achievements, need, or anything else you feel should be taken into consideration.  

    • If you were the President of the United States for one day, what policy changes would you enact and what other initiatives would you put forth to reflect the way you would like to see the country operate?

    *The Presidential Scholarship is a tuition-only scholarship which replaces all other institutional scholarships and grants offered by Randolph College.
