    "DNA Glow Lab"

Ever wondered how scientists work with DNA in real labs? Join us for a hands-on adventure where you'll step into the role of a molecular biologist! You'll start by mastering one of the most essential laboratory skills - micropipetting! You will learn how to accurately measure and transfer tiny volumes of liquid to create a “glowing gradient”. Then, put your new skills to the test as you investigate how temperature and pH influence the structure of DNA using fluorescent dyes that make molecular changes glow before your eyes. Along the way, you'll discover the science behind fluorescence, explore why DNA is both incredibly strong and surprisingly delicate, and experience how researchers study one of life's most important macromolecules.
